Gproxy Design Exhibiting at IRWD 2011

Gproxy Design will be present at the Internet Retailer Web Design & Usability 2011 Conference in Orlando, FL next February. The IRWD is the most relevant Web Design & Usability Event for e-retailers in the US.

I'd like to share with you Internet Retailer Publisher Jack Love's invitation to this event, where is clearly explain who should attend and why.

Hope to see you all there!

Welcome to IRWD 2011: E-Retailing's "Hidden Gem" of a Conference

There are many e-commerce conferences for e-retailers to attend. Internet Retailer offers three of our own, including the largest e-commerce show in the world--the Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition to be held in San Diego next June.

But there is one conference—and only one—that is focused exclusively on the task of helping e-retailers and their web developers to enhance the design of retail web sites to make them easier to find, more convenient to use and compelling for online shoppers to browse, locate and buy more merchandise. That show is the 2011 Internet Retailer Web Design & Usability Conference, now in its fourth year.

I confess this is my favorite online retailing show, because it's the one where I learn the most about what I am certain is the single most important ingredient in a successful retail web site—a design that uses the latest market intelligence, proven techniques, and the newest tools to make a web site easier to find, navigate, and submit orders—the secrets to creating a web shopper's paradise.

The Evolving Secrets of Retail Web Design
Those secrets are exactly what the 43 experts speakers at IRWD 2011 will provide during this three-day event. The secrets to excellent web design are not carved in stone; they evolve continuously thanks to new technology, the expanding experience of the e-retailing market, and the requirement to meet the changing needs of the web shopper. And at IRWD 2011, speakers will focus on how web design must address the needs of the post-recession shopper, a very different being than the pre-recession buyer. More than ever, web shoppers—a demanding lot even in good times—want convenience, information, price, speed, selection and quality before they buy. Excellent designs provide all of that; IRWD 2011 speakers reveal the secrets to excellent designs.

An Interactive Experience
But IRWD 2011 does not merely present information in a static conference room. It provides real-life examples, frank design critiques, and lots of interactive sessions in which attendees ask questions, submit their own designs for peer and speaker review, and seek advice to resolve their unique web design challenges and opportunities. This isn't a sit-back-and-listen conference; it's a roll-up-your sleeves, participate and learn conference. And because everyone at the show is focused on one subject—retail web site designs that work—the networking opportunities are particularly rewarding.

Two Free Consultation Sessions
Now for the clincher. All paid conference attendees at the 2011 Internet Retailer Web Design & Usability Conference receive two free 30-minute private consultations with their choice of 24 web design experts. Other shows have tried to emulate this unique feature of IRWD but none deliver a consultation experience like IRWD does. We let you choose a consultant (picking two of the 24 based on their background descriptions) and schedule your preferred time to meet with them for a private consulting session in a room equipped with a high-speed web connections and monitor. All web design consultants are provided in advance the company names of the attendees they will meet with and each consultant reviews the attendee's site in advance so the consultation can be more productive. Design consultants are forbidden to make sales pitches. Their sole purpose is to analyze the design and usability of your site and suggest ways to make it a more powerful sales generator.

I'm not alone in signing the praises of the Internet Retailer Web Design & Usability Conference. Take a look at the stellar attendee ratings this show gets and you'll get a better understanding of how attendees feel about the value of this unique retail web site design event. If you attend IRWD 2011, I will bet that you'll come away from it armed with web design intelligence that you will put to use as soon as you return home. This isn't the biggest or even best known e-commerce show. But each year, hundreds of attendees return home agreeing with Schlomo Weisman, a VP of Fidelity Payment Services and, an attendee at IRWD 2010. Says he: "This show is a hidden gem."

Kindest Regards,
